Problems at Turkish/Bulgarien border

Due to new requirements for computer registration of certain information, there have been long waiting times at the Turkish/Bulgarian border since the beginning of 2011. These problems are caused by some trucks lacking neccesary information for making the transit through the border, and also some problems with the computer systems of the customs.
Basically this is causing trucks to have to wait double as long as normal, and this results in delays in delivery of shipments. This is a matter that is being looked into by the European Forwarders Association, CLECAT, and we hope that there will soon be improvements, but untill then some delays should be expected.
